Shevita, originally from Indonesia, holds a bachelor’s degree in Communication from the University of Southern Mississippi and a master’s degree in Communication for Development and Social Change from Temple University. Her passion for tennis began at the age of five and grew into a lifelong commitment to using sports as a tool for community building and positive social impact. She competed in collegiate tennis at Troy University, the University of Southern Mississippi, and Temple University.
Shevita first joined LEGACY through its Community Tennis Summer Camp, where she engaged and mentored youth through the sport. Her impact there led to her being recognized as Community Coach of the Year for her outstanding leadership and dedication.
