Mahlayah was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where she attended Overbrook high school and Kaplan University for Pharmacy. She later realized that she had a passion to work with kids and decided to start by just volunteering at several schools around Philadelphia, took several courses to obtain the certifications needed and began working for the Philadelphia school district in 2018. Outside of work her 4 children whom she adores are her most precious gifts and God is #1 in her life and he leads her down all paths. Mahlayah’s ultimate favorite thing to do is cook and she take pride in that. Mahlayah goes through each day knowing that if you want something, you put your best foot forward, dedicate yourself, have faith and teamwork will always make the dream work.
