Ashley began working with children with special needs over ten years ago in both the school and home settings. Throughout that time, she worked as a Therapeutic Staff Support worker, teacher’s assistant, and a special education tutor. While working in the field, she completed her B.S. in Behavioral Health and Human Services at Chestnut Hill College and continued her career working one-on-one with students at various Philadelphia schools.
Before joining LEGACY, Ashley worked as an Income Maintenance Caseworker for the Department of Human Services for seven years. While in this role, she determined eligibility for a high volume of diverse Medicaid and SNAP cases by reviewing applications, interviewing, and gathering pertinent documentation. Ashley is excited to be part of the LEGACY team and eager to blend her experience in case management, therapeutic support, and strategic planning with her passion for working with youth. With her background in educational and therapeutic support, she looks forward to contributing to the impactful youth programming that LEGACY provides.
