Born and raised in Barcelona (Spain), Aleix Alvarez Calvo is an experienced tennis coach and a former competitive player. Aleix competed in ITF Futures tournaments, where he earned victories over ATP-ranked players. He trained alongside top-level professionals such as Albert Ramos Viñolas, former World No. 17, Norwegian Davis Cup players Casper Ruud and Viktor Durasovic, and more. A former NCAA Division 1 and 2 athlete, Aleix earned full-ride scholarships to Eastern Kentucky University and McKendree University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Music Marketing with a focus on piano. 

Aleix also served as a coach at Club Tennis Mataró, where he trained high-performance players competing in national and ITF Futures tournaments, preparing them for careers in professional tennis as well as collegiate recruitment.

Fluent in English, Spanish, and Catalan, Aleix independently ran a successful tennis coaching business in Miami Beach, FL, where he developed a loyal client base by offering personalized tennis lessons for players of all levels and ages. 

In addition to his athletic career, Aleix shares a deep passion for music as he is a singer, songwriter, music producer, piano composer, and music teacher. He also co-founded Daltonic Clothing SL, a clothing brand, where he served as the Marketing Director.
