Earlier this month, several of our incredible LEGACY players were honored by USTA Middle States, along with the Philadelphia Area Tennis District, Eastern Pennsylvania District, and New Jersey District. We couldn’t be prouder of their hard work, dedication, and outstanding achievements!
For some of our players, this marks the second time they’ve been recognized by USTA, a true testament to their commitment to the sport. We are especially thrilled to celebrate those who received Sportsmanship Awards, as this reflects not just their skill on the court, but also their character and the way they represent LEGACY.
A special congratulations goes to Maia Knowles, who was named the 2024 Adult Volunteer of the Year. Maia’s contributions to the tennis community are remarkable, and the honor is even more special as her son, Bodhi, was also recognized with a USTA Sportsmanship Award. Additionally, her other son, Gabe, continues to give back to the sport as a coach here at LEGACY.
It is truly inspiring to see our LEGACY family celebrated not only for their on-court success but also for their positive impact beyond the game.
