Tournament Training 1 is an intense training program for players ages 12-18 who are looking to compete on a National Level. The goal of this program is to develop all aspects of the student’s game – technical, strategic, tactical, psychological (mental/emotional) and physical/athletic – with the intent of developing the skills needed to help each student reach their full potential as a player. This program is for players who are committed to training and competing in tournaments on a full time basis. ( Minimum Required UTR of 4.5 for girls and 5.5 for boys).

November 27th (make-up offered)

November 28th (make-up offered)

December 24th-31st (not part of 13 week session but will run winter break camp 12/29-12/31)

Each session is 13 weeks of programming

Clinic Pricing

Total 13 week cost:

$575 for Philadelphia residents

$625 for Non-residents

Training Recommendations

Recommended training for players in Tournament Training 1:

Play in L4’s, L3’s and national level tournaments in their age group
2 hour a day, 4-5 times a week
12 – 15 hrs on court
45 min of tennis fitness per week
30 min of strategy/mental training per week
30 min of yoga and stretching
12 – 18 tournaments per year
25 – 30 tournament matches per year
