Competitive Clinic is for players ages 8-18 from complete beginners to intermediate level players. Participants are working towards tournament play or actively participating in District Level USTA tournaments. Participants will play on 60-foot and 78-foot courts.

Recommended training for players in Competitive Clinic:

• Play DR – L7 USTA tournaments in their age group
• 1 hr a day, 3 – 4 times a week
• 30 min – 1 hr private lesson per week
• 30 min of tennis fitness per week
• 30 min of watching tennis on tv or other clinics
• 3 – 6 hrs total time of deliberate practice
• 1 – 3 hrs of non-tennis athletic activity per week
• 12 – 15 tournaments per year
