Clinic Info

Competitive Clinic is for players ages 8-18 from complete beginners to intermediate level players. Participants are working towards tournament play or actively participating in District Level USTA tournaments. Participants will play on 60-foot and 78-foot courts.

September 7th

October 22nd – No Tournament Training One & Competitive Clinic

October 23rd – No Tournament Training Comp.

October 24th – No Tournament Training Comp.

November 26th & November 27th

Each session is 13 weeks of programming

Total 13 week cost:

$410 for Philadelphia Residents

$445 for Non-residents

Training Recommendations

Recommended training for players in Competitive Clinic:

Play DR – L7 USTA tournaments in their age group
1 hr a day, 3 – 4 times a week
30 min – 1 hr private lesson per week
30 min of tennis fitness per week
30 min of watching tennis on tv or other clinics
3 – 6 hrs total time of deliberate practice
1 – 3 hrs of non-tennis athletic activity per week
12 – 15 tournaments per year
