ESPN’s Chris McKendry Announced as Emcee for LEGACY Annual Benefit Honoring John McEnroe

October 2, 2024

Legacy Youth Tennis and Education has announced that ESPN’s Chris McKendry will serve as the Emcee for its 42nd Annual Benefit, honoring tennis legend John McEnroe. The event will take place on November 2nd, 2024, at the iconic Please Touch Museum in Philadelphia.

McKendry, a Philadelphia native and proud alumni of Drexel University, has become a prominent figure in the sports world through her extensive coverage of major tennis events like the US Open, Wimbledon, and the Australian Open. Her deep roots in the city, combined with her long-standing passion for tennis, make her a fitting choice to lead the evening’s festivities celebrating McEnroe’s contributions to the game.

The benefit will spotlight McEnroe’s storied career as one of the sport’s greatest champions and his ongoing dedication to youth development through the Johnny Mac Tennis Project. Funds raised during the event will support LEGACY’s very important programming.
